WATCH: Orlando Antigua, Jacob Toppin preview the Mississippi State game

Before Kentucky Basketball hosts Mississippi State in the Wildcats’ return to Rupp Arena, a Monday press conference was held to preview the game. Speaking on behalf of the team were assistant coach Orlando Antigua and backup forward Jacob Toppin with comments on the game and the status of the team following the loss at Auburn.
Antigua went first with a slight update on TyTy Washington’s progress, only confirming Washington is day-to-day. “He’s like the rest of us,” said Antigua. “He’s day-to-day.”

Antigua also gave his brief report on Shaedon Sharpe’s progress as Sharpe gets acquainted with his new life as a Kentucky Basketball player. Jacob Toppin provided comments on Sharpe too. Toppin revealed his new teammate still hasn’t participated in any 5-on-5, “but he’s coming along.”
