It was a somber mood during the Kentucky men’s basketball postgame press conference on Wednesday night.

Following the Wildcats’ 89-75 loss to the Missouri Tigers, a pair of players were made available to the media for questions. Kentucky’s two bright spots from the game, freshman Cason Wallace and senior Oscar Tshiebwe, spoke with reporters for a couple of minutes to break down what went wrong.

Wallace finished with 19 points on 7-16 shooting, including a 5-13 mark from beyond the arc in 32 minutes of action. Meanwhile, Tshiebwe posted an incredible line of 23 points and 19 rebounds, playing all 40 minutes for the Wildcats. He achieved his 23 points on just 6-8 shooting from the floor, leaning on an 11-17 clip from the free-throw line.
