WATCH: Oscar Tshiebwe Discusses Return to Kentucky

Oscar Tshiebwe is ready for one more year of basketball at the University of Kentucky. Two days after announcing his return to Lexington, the Big O met with members of the media to share why he decided to pass on the NBA Draft.
“I worked with Coach (Cal) for like eight months and they changed my game. If we can focus on this thing through, I think my game can. goto a different level,” Tshiebwe said.
Kentucky’s first ever unanimous National Player of the Year, he’s only the third Wooden Award winner to play another year of college basketball. He plans to take his game to the next level by extending his shooting range. Already proficient in the midrange, Oscar wants to show NBA scouts that he can knock down a couple three-pointers a game. What does John Calipari think of this idea?

“He told me he’ll let me shoot threes… as long as I keep making them,” Oscar laughed.
The Big O cracked plenty of jokes throughout his 19-minute conversation. He was asked about reports of $2 million in NIL returns and all he could say was, “I don’t know about that. That’s good money right there.”
If you think you can’t like Oscar anymore, just watch this. You will once again be proven wrong. He’s the man.
