WATCH: QB Cutter Boley highlights halfway through senior season
Kentucky’s four-star quarterback commit, Cutter Boley, has Lexington Christian Academy (KY) off to a 4-1 start halfway through his senior season. The Eagles have consistently been among the top 15 of KSR’s Top 25 statewide rankings since the preseason and currently sit at No. 7 — tops in Class 2A.
For Boley, he’s produced some incredible highlights so far — highlights that make you understand why he’s rated so highly. The On3 Industry Ranking considers the in-state product the No. 154 overall prospect in the country and a top 12 quarterback. At 6-foot-5, 200 pounds, Boley is using his legs more than he ever has this year while also showing off his strong arm. He’s been mobile when breaking outside the pocket but is still delivering 15-plus yard strikes on a rope when throwing behind his offensive line.
Through five games, Boley has posted the following stats: 87-144 passing (60.4%), 1,196 yards, 6 TDs, 4 INTs | 30 rushes, 120 yards, 5 TDs. LCA has come away with ranked wins over No. 20 Bowling Green (56-52), No. 24 Pikeville (31-13), and No. 10 Christian Academy-Louisville (14-12). The Eagles’ lone loss came against the top-ranked Boyle County Rebels, falling in a 47-38 shootout.

Boley would injure his throwing hand during the third quarter of that loss to Boyle, which clearly affected his play the following two weeks, but he recovered last week in another shootout win, 49-42 over Lexington Catholic in the annual “Holy War”. He’ll be back in action Friday night when LCA hosts Louisville Shawnee at 7:30 p.m. EST.
