WATCH: Quaintance, Fland & Knox shine in McDonald's All-American Game

The future Cats took care of business in the 2024 McDonald’s All-American Game in Houston, TX on Tuesday, with Boogie Fland and Jayden Quaintance leading the East squad to a win over Karter Knox and the West by a final score of 88-86.
Fland led the Kentucky pledges with 17 points on 6-14 shooting and 3-6 from three while adding five rebounds and three assists, highlighted by the go-ahead putback to secure the victory. Quaintance added seven points on 3-4 shooting with seven rebounds, four steals and three assists, making a high-level impact on both ends, while Knox went for nine points on 4-6 shooting in 12 quick minutes for the losing squad.

In one of the most competitive McDAAG matchups in recent memory, you can argue Kentucky’s Burger Boys put forth the best all-around efforts among all other schools’ representatives. And it was a continuation of the rest of the week, all three shining in their own ways in practices and scrimmages leading up to the main event.
