Former Kentucky and NBA star Rajon Rondo is a college graduate. The four-time NBA All-Star and two-time world champion returned to the University of Kentucky to finish his degree after retirement. On Friday, Rondo walked the stage and received his diploma at UK Commencement in Rupp Arena, where he played two seasons as a Wildcat from 2004-06 before an early exit to the draft.

One of 116 student-athletes graduating this weekend, Rondo was joined on Friday by familiar names like Ansley Almonor and Kerr Kriisa, who carried a basketball through Friday’s commencement.

Former UK football star Chris Westry also returned to school to complete his degree after his five-year pro career ended in the NFL.
