La Familia has advanced to round two of The Basketball Tournament.

The team made up of former Kentucky players smacked the 305 Ballers on Friday night in Rupp Arena, winning 82-56 with the victory capped off by a Brennan Canada free throw in the Elam Ending. For many of the La Familia players, this was their first time playing in Rupp Arena in front of the Big Blue Nation in over a decade. Nostalgia was thick in the air all night long and ended with smiles all around.

Afterward, the KSR crew lined up for our Rapid Reaction. Drew Franklin, Daniel Hager, Mario Maitland, and I gave our quick thoughts on everything we saw, which you can watch below. We also have postgame interviews from head coach Tyler Ulis along with both Andrew and Aaron Harrison.
