Before we fully pivot to Saturday’s important matchup against South Carolina, let’s take one more moment to reflect upon Kentucky’s (weird and wild) Week 1 shutout win.
The talented people at the UK Sports Video team are back again this football season with a highlight package of the best plays and moments from last Saturday’s 31-0 shutout victory over Southern Miss. The game was initially delayed for over two hours and ultimately canceled in the third quarter due to lightning, but a pause in the action only seemed to rile up the Big Blue Nation even more. A little rain and waiting around wasn’t going to stop them from cheering on what might be Mark Stoops‘ most talented squad at Kentucky yet. The fanbase was at its absolute best.
The players put on a show for them too. Brock Vandagriff showed plenty of positive flashes as QB1 and the defense refused to give up a single point.
