Watch UK vs. UL Volleyball on TV Tonight

It’s Central Michigan week in football, and you’re bored on a Wednesday night.  What are you going to do?  Easy answer...turn to Fox Sports South at 7pm to watch UK take on UofL in volleyball.  This may not be the week the Cats stomp on the Dirty Birds in Commonwealth, but you may as well start your red-hate a week early.

Volleyball against Louisville is apparently been a bigger rivalry than we thought.  The home team has won the past two meetings, each taking a full five sets to settle it.  Louisville comes in at 5-1 and Kentucky at 5-2.  The all-time record sits at 24-23 in favor of the Cards.  Tonight is a chance for he Cats to even up.

This battle will take place in Lexington at Memorial Coliseum.  That means all you students should screw your homework and head down to the game.  Someone make a hilarious sign and if it makes Fox Sports South, we’ll put it on the site.  All you non-students and older folk, feel free to go to the game, but if we catch you ogling the spandex shorts on TV, we will forever label you as a creeper.  UK had this to say about parking:

Parking is available in all surrounding E-Lots (Employee Lots) adjacent to Memorial Coliseum, beginning two and a half hours prior to any home UK volleyball match.

As if you needed more encouragement to watch women frolicking in spandex, Dick Gabriel’s goatee will be on the mic with Kathy DeBoer.
