WATCH: Vince Marrow Mic'd Up at Kentucky Spring Football Practice
Vince Marrow is one of a kind. Kentucky’s tight end coach is so much more than that. One of the most endearing characters in the BBN shows exactly why when the Ky Wildcats TV crew puts the spotlight on the Big Dog at Kentucky Spring Practice.
During an individual period with the tight ends, he asked early enrollee Khamari Anderson, “Are you a dog, or are you a poodle?”
He is also not afraid to let the Wildcats know when things go wrong. “What the hell just happened?”

Vince Marrow keeps things light at various times through practice. Brenden Bates and the Big Dog had a conversation about breakfast foods, sharing their favorite cereals. When it’s time for business, Marrow is ready to provide praise when it’s earned. Izayah Cummings received an emphatic applause, and that was just the beginning of it. If you were unable to make it to today’s open spring practice, don’t worry, Vince Marrow will get you fired up for Kentucky football.
Vince Marrow Stays Recruiting
Vince Marrow abides by the ABCs of college football: Always Be ‘Crootin. Friday night Kentucky’s associate head coach was entertaining recruits, namely Fred Johnson Jr, a 6-foot-5 three-star 2024 offensive tackle from Cleveland’s Glenville High School.
Kentucky’s recruiting staff has prioritized offensive tackles in the 2024 recruiting class. Earlier this week they hosted four-star talent Jac’Qawn McRoy and today they’re expecting a visit from another four-star offensive tackle, Kai Greer.
