WATCH: Zvonimir Ivisic breaks down his impressive college debut
It was the Big Z Show on Saturday night at Rupp Arena.
Let’s ignore the fact that Kentucky scored 105 points, shot 62 percent from the field, went 14-25 from distance, had two players finish with 20-plus points, or that DJ Wagner posted a double-double with assists. For right now, none of that matters.
Why? Because Zvonimir Ivisic‘s performance was so unexpected it’s the only thing we can think about.
Ivisic finished with 13 points, five rebounds, two assists, three blocks, and two steals in just 16 minutes during his college debut. He was cleared by the NCAA just hours before tipoff. After Kentucky polished off the win over Georgia, all anyone wanted to know was what Big Z had to say.
