[caption id="" align="aligncenter" width="2048"]Image (@TomOrr4)[/caption] The Amway Coaches poll is much different following an eventful day of college football. The most surprising result of the day came from Kansas State's upset of Jalen Hurts, and Oklahoma with the Sooners dropping four spots to No. 9. Alabama remains the number one team in the nation, picking up 40 of 65 first place votes after a big win over Arkansas. LSU moved up one spot to set up a #1 vs #2 match up when they travel to face the Crimson Tide in two weeks. There are now just nine unbeaten teams remaining: Alabama, LSU, Clemson, Ohio State, Penn State, Baylor, Minnesota, SMU, and Appalachian State. Notre Dame moved down nine spots following an embarrassing performance against Michigan in the Big House. The Wolverines moved up five spots to #16 after the big win. Texas also dropped nine spots moving the Longhorns to #24 after a ten point loss to TCU. Wisconsin was another team that moved down after a dominate performance by Ohio State. Check out the rest of the Amway Coaches Poll here.
