Where in the World is Ramel Bradley?

by:Matt Jones08/19/08
smoooooth Its that time of year again, where thoughts of basketball start running through the heads of young kids across the world. And with the Redeem Team putting International basketball back on the radar, it is time to check in and see where our former Cats will be stationed this year. First up, is our man Ramel Bradley, who will be playing this season in Croatia. Bradley signed with a Croatian team called Cedevita Zagreb this season and will be playing in the Croatian "A" League this year. The team's website plays a great "Vegas musical" act when you click on it (try and do so without dancing). And the team's uniforms are mighty spiffy as well. I cant wait to see a picture of Ramel in these hot threads: skupna07008m2.jpg They also seem to have a crowd ready to cheer on our man when he flashes the Diamond Cutter to the masses: publika1_1.jpg And if the team's Christmas party last year is any indication, there may be some Croatian ladies ready to meet the Smooth one: ladies.jpg ladies2.jpg One look at the Cedevita roster showcases three important things. First, former Providence star (and man with a great name) God Shammgod is on the team and is the other American on the roster. Second, most of the team has names that end in the letter "c", which is important. Finally, that old saying about how you dont mess with Tomislav Petrovic when he is angry should be remembered by our man Smooth. We dont want any incidents. Throughout the year, I find on cheering for Cedevita, along with their saucy cheerleaders: cheer3.jpg Below is a video of one of Cedevita's games last year, and if it any indication, Ramel will add some much needed flavor to the team. I havent seen this many old bald dudes on one court since the Louisville lawyer's basketball league took off for the summer. We wish Ramel well and are ready for reports of his domination of the Croatian basketball Euroleague.
