We’re now deep into the high school football season. Most schools across the country have played anywhere from 3-5 games already. That’s been enough time for the On3 recruiting team to gather information and watch plenty of film on the best prospects from the 2024 recruiting class. On Monday, On3 updated their ’24 player rankings — the On300 — to reflect what they’ve seen so far this season.

Of the freshly ranked top 300 prospects, three of them are currently committed to Kentucky — QB Cutter Boley, CB Terhyon Nichols, and IOL Aba Selm. Additionally, a few important targets not yet on the board cracked the On300. Unfortunately, two future Wildcats were dropped entirely — WR Hardley Gilmore (previously No. 286) and EDGE Elijah Groves (previously No. 272) both fell out of the On300. That being said, they are still rated as 90 overall recruits, which is right on the border of being included among the On300.

With these new changes, Kentucky’s entire 2024 class is now ranked 26th in the country. Despite still being considered four stars by the On3 Industry Ranking (which accounts for all four major recruiting services), recently added commitments Jacob and Jerod Smith did not make the On300. Check out all of the Kentucky commits/targets that did make the On300 below.

Kentucky commits in On300

Cutter Boley (QB) 6-5, 200 | Lexington Christian Academy (Lexington, KY)
Dropped 35 spots from No. 75 to No. 110

  • Cutter Boley fell 35 spots in the latest update, the largest drop of anyone on this list. He’s had an up-and-down senior season thus far for Lexington Christian Academy (4-1) — with more ups than downs though. Boley has thrown for 1,196 yards on a 60.4 completion percentage with six touchdowns and four interceptions. On the ground, he’s added 120 yards and five more touchdowns with his legs. Even with the drop, Boley remains Kentucky’s highest-ranked commit and the prize of the 2024 class.

Terhyon Nichols (CB) 5-11, 185 | Withrow (Cincinnati, OH)
Stayed at No. 115

  • Terhyon Nichols did not move in the latest update. It’s been tough to hunt down statistics for his season so far at Withrow, but we do know he’s returned a 96-yard kickoff for a touchdown. Nichols is considered a four-star recruit by all four major recruiting services, but On3 holds him in the highest regard as a borderline top-100 prospect.

Aba Selm (IOL) 6-4, 295 | Simon Kenton (Independence, KY)
Dropped 12 spots from No. 261 to No. 273

  • Aba Selm fell 12 spots in the latest update. That being said, On3 still ranks him higher than any of the four major recruiting services. 247Sports, Rivals, and ESPN all consider Selm a three-star recruit, while On3 has been constant in their four-star ranking. He’s ranked as a top 20 offensive lineman in the entire country. Selm has played both sides of the ball for Simon Kenton (2-2) this season, recording 22 total tackles (13 solo), five tackles for loss, and one sack on defense. Meanwhile, the Simon Kenton offense has rushed for 960 yards and 14 touchdowns behind Selm.

Kentucky targets in On300

Kam Mikell (CB) 6-0, 180 | Statesboro (Statesboro, GA)
Dropped from No. 53 to No. 59

  • Kam Mikell fell six spots in the latest update. He was originally planning to take an official visit to Kentucky earlier in the season, but instead took a trip to Colorado to see Coach Prime. That being said, Mikell still expects to officially visit UK on Oct. 28 when the Wildcats host Tennessee. He visited Florida over the weekend and will also visit Tennessee and Texas A&M. Kentucky is pitching the cornerback to play wide receiver in Lexington. Georgia is still considered the frontrunner.

Brian Robinson (EDGE) 6-5, 250 | Westerville North (Austintown, OH)
Dropped from No. 139 to No. 150

  • Brian Robinson fell 11 spots in the latest update. His recruitment has gone somewhat quiet in recent months. However, he took a surprise visit to UK during the season-opening win over Ball State and even posed with assistant coach Vince Marrow and the recently committed Smith twins. Robinson has not taken any visits since he was in Lexington the first weekend of September and the sense is Kentucky still has the best shot at landing him of his services.

Amontrae Bradford (EDGE) 6-5, 230 | Statesboro (Statesboro, GA)
Jumped from unranked to No. 291

  • Amontrae Bradford jumped into the On300 in the latest update. Teammates at Statesboro with Mikell, the two have been considered a package deal at the next level. They were both at Colorado together and plan to visit Kentucky as a pair next month. The other three major recruiting services all rank Bradford as a low-end three-star — On3 is the first to make him a four-star. UK offered him in May.
