Where Kentucky Targets Fall in Updated 2024 On300 Rankings

As the football recruiting world eyes a new recruiting cycle, our friends in the national recruiting department at On3 have rolled out a new ranking for the 2024 recruiting class and a new method to create a pecking order for players.
First, let’s address the latter. Starting today, the On3 Consensus is no longer a complete and equally weighted industry-generated average that accounts for all four major recruiting services. Why? ESPN doesn’t carry the same weight as the rest of the services, so why should their ratings matter more? The On3 Industry Ranking is slightly shaking up the algorithm.
New 2024 On300 Rankings
In conjunction with the new On3 Industry Ranking announcement, a new On300 was rolled out just before camp season gets underway this spring. A couple of players in Kentucky’s crosshairs are in the Top 100, including a Top 20 overall player that visited Lexington last month for Junior Day. Take a closer look at some of the Kentucky football recruits in the 2024 On300 rankings.
Dylan Raiola
Quarterback, Phoenix Pinnacle, AZ
6-foot-3, 225 lbs.
No. 6 overall, No. 1 QB
Once an Ohio State commit, Liam Coen did not hesitate to offer the No. 1 QB in America a scholarship. Raiola visited Nebraska over the weekend.
Cam Coleman
Wide Receiver, Phenix City-Central, AL
6-foot-3, 180 lbs.
No. 20 overall, No. 4 WR
Coleman visited Kentucky’s campus for Junior Day in January. He’s already received offers from Alabama, Auburn, Florida State and many more, but Kentucky does seem to have a connection. There are two Phenix City-Central products currently on the roster, JQ Hardaway and Josh Jones.
DJ Lagway
Quarterback, Willis, TX
6-foot-2.5, 225 lbs
No. 21 overall, No. 3 QB
Once again, Liam Coen is not afraid to throw out scholarship offers to the best quarterbacks in America.
Liam Andrews
Interior Offensive Line, Brookline Dexter School, MA
6-foot-4, 270 lbs.
No. 57 overall, No. 3 IOL
From Coen and Scott Woodward’s neck of the woods in the Northeast, Andrews unofficially visited Kentucky’s campus last spring. Nearby schools Penn State, Notre Dame and Boston College are UK’s primary competition.
Ryan Wingo
Wide Receiver, St. Louis University
6-foot-2, 198 lbs
No. 74, No. 11 WR
Missouri has done a good job in recent years keeping the best in St. Louis home. It’s also noteworthy that his older brother, Ronnie Wingo, played for Arkansas.
Jordan Marshall
Running Back, Cincinnati Moeller
5-foot-10, 190 lbs
No. 79, No. 6 RB
Even though Kentucky missed the initial cut, that doesn’t mean Vince Marrow will go quietly into the night at a school he’s successfully recruited throughout his Kentucky tenure.
Koy Beasley
Cornerback, Cincinnati La Salle
5-foot-11, 180 lbs
No. 96, No. 4 ATH
The Wildcats offered the track star earlier this year, the first of many Power Five schools to throw their hat in the ring. Georgia, USC, Nebraska and Purdue have all since extended scholarship offers.
Quinton Martin
Running Back, Belle Vernon, PA
6-foot-1.5, 198 lbs.
No. 99, No. 5 RB
Typically Kentucky does not go for the big fish when recruiting running backs. The Wildcats appear to be making an exception here as Justin Rowland reports Martin will visit campus next month.

Chance Robinson
Wide Receiver, St. Thomas Aquinas, Ft. Lauderdale
6-foot-1, 180 lbs
No. 150, No. 25 WR
Florida State, Florida and Miami are battling for the local prospect, but don’t rule out Mike Stoops, who secured a commitment from the Thomas Aquinas in 2023 when Jayvant Brown flipped late from Michigan State.
Brian Robinson
Edge, Austintown Fitch, OH
6-foot-4, 254 lbs.
No. 175, No. 16 EDGE
Robinson for all intents and purposes is a Youngstown guy, which means this will be a Youngstown recruitment, pitting Kentucky’s Vince Marrow against Michigan’s Steve Clinkscale. Robinson has family connections to each. He camped at UK last summer and returned for a game in the fall. But Penn State, Notre Dame and Michigan have received more unofficials as of late.
Deontae Armstrong
Offensive Tackle, St. Edward, OH
6-foot-7, 270 lbs
No. 194, No. 18 OT
Devontae Armstrong
Offensive Tackle, St. Edward, OH
6-foot-4.5, 260 lbs
No. 247, No. 25 OT
If landing one top notch prospect on the offensive line is a big deal, what will this package deal mean for a program? The twin brothers could end up lining up next to one another, with the latter potentially sliding down to guard. Like most of the top players in Ohio in this cycle, Kentucky is competing with Penn State, Ohio State, Michigan and Pitt.
Terhyon Nichols
Cornerback, Cincinnati Withrow
5-foot-10, 180 lbs.
No. 220, No. 20 CB
A riser in the recruiting rankings, Kentucky recently hosted Nichols on campus for Junior Day.
Jeremiah Beasley
Linebacker, Belleville, MI
6-foot-1, 210 lbs.
No. 272, No. 22 LB
Hailing from a recruiting territory that’s produced multiple starters for the Wildcats, Beasley delayed his initial decision to take all five of his visits, including one to Kentucky. Michigan State, Michigan, Tennessee and Penn State are also in the mix.
Boo Carter
Wide Receiver, Brainerd, Chattanooga, TN
6-foot, 180 lbs.
No. 289, No. 20 ATH
A 7-on-7 teammate of Cutter Boley‘s, the Cats missed the initial cut, but if Tennessee doesn’t secure an early commitment, Kentucky might be a school that makes him reconsider later in the process.
