Where Kentucky targets stand in On3's latest 2025 basketball player rankings
The 2025 high school boy’s basketball recruiting class is considered by many to be one of the deepest and most talented groups in recent memory. Despite them being two more years away from entering college, many of them are thought to be among the best hoopers in the country — regardless of grade. Kentucky men’s basketball head coach John Calipari already has his eyes on several of them, too.
In fact, Calipari is going against his traditional grain with this class. Instead of waiting for them to progress along throughout their high school careers, he and the rest of his staff have been recruiting a handful of them earlier than usual and doing so with consistency. The Wildcats have already extended nine scholarships to class of 2025 recruits.
And thanks to a new rankings update from our friends over at On3, we now know that all of them are considered among the top 35 rising juniors in the nation. Additionally, of the eight five-star recruits in On3’s latest update, six of them hold Kentucky offers with one other receiving growing interest from the ‘Cats.
Who are they and where did they land in the third class of 2025 update? Let’s find out together. All of the players listed below are either high on Kentucky’s radar or were born in the Bluegrass State.
