ESPN/Hoopgurlz just did a big update to their high school recruiting rankings. Here are some of the more significant changes regarding Kentucky targets.

Agot Makeer in the Top 5, ZaKiyah Johnson falls out of Top 10

The most significant changes occurred within the 2025 class, and two of Kentucky’s top targets were moved in the updated rankings. Agot Makeer went from No. 6 to No. 4 in the updated rankings while ZaKiyah Johnson fell to No. 12 after previously being ranked at No. 7.

Kaelyn Carroll catapulted into Top 20

However, five-star wing Kaelyn Carroll jumped from No. 29 all the way to No. 18, making her on of the biggest risers on the high school scene. Carroll had a strong summer, especially at the Run 4 Roses event in Louisville.

Kate Harpring climbs into Top 3 in 2026 after big summer

If there’s anyone who proved their value over the summer, it was 2026 five-star point guard Kate Harpring. She had a huge, huge summer, capping it off by being named the MVP of the Overtime Select event.

She shot all the way up to No. 2 in the 2026 class after previously being a four-star at No. 18.
