Where Kentucky's signees finished in the 2025 On3 150 rankings

The final 2025 On3 150 rankings have been released following the conclusion of all-star festivities as high school standouts are set to make the transition to college this summer. Among them? Both of Kentucky’s signees, Malachi Moreno and Jasper Johnson.
The pair of in-state prospects finished as four-star recruits, Moreno coming in at No. 24 overall and No. 2 among centers while Johnson took a bit of a fall, closing out at No. 36 overall and No. 13 among shooting guards.
“I believe that Malachi Moreno is the best center in the country in this class,” Mark Pope said of the standout big man. “He is an elite-level passer with incredible tracking vision. He has a ferocity around the rim in terms of ball protection and he is willing to engage physically. He is going to grow into an elite-level shooter. And, more important than all of those incredible things, is that he gets a little teary-eyed when he walks into Rupp Arena because he knows what this place is.”
“Jasper Johnson is the most dangerous scorer in all of high school basketball,” Pope added of the Lexington native. “He has a panache and a flair that is going to be loved by all of BBN. He has a fearless mindset on the court and is also a massive gravity player, where the whole defense has to shift out to him at 27 feet. His family has a great legacy here at Kentucky and he may just write the most profound chapter of them all.”

Former Kentucky signee Acaden Lewis, who backed away from his pledge earlier this month, finished at No. 50 overall and No. 7 among point guards. The Wildcats recently hosted Braydon Hawthorne — one of the top uncommitted prospects left on the board in 2025 — for an official visit as they look to wrap up the roster in 2025-26. He actually jumped ahead of Johnson in the final update, sitting at No. 35 overall and No. 9 among small forwards.
Looking at the 2025 On3 Industry Ranking, a proprietary algorithm that compiles ratings and rankings by all four major recruiting services, Johnson finished at No. 23 overall and No. 8 at his position while Moreno sits at No. 27 overall as the top-ranked center in the class.
