We are only nine days away from the NFL Draft. As players sweat out the long wait, analysts are putting on the finishing touches of their final mock drafts.
Over at ESPN, Mel Kiper and Todd McShay put their heads together to create a three round mock draft, alternating picks over the event’s first two days. Jamin Davis and Kelvin Joseph have always been in the conversation, but as the draft draws closer their stonks are higher than ever before.

In most mocks you will find Davis coming in at No. 26 to the Cleveland Browns, this year’s NFL Draft host. ESPN believes the former UK linebacker could go even higher. With the 19th overall selection, Kiper has Davis selected by the Washington Football Team.
Washington has a great front four, but it could upgrade at middle linebacker. Davis has elite tape from the 2020 season, and he has some coverage ability, too.
Kiper isn’t the only one bullish on former Cats. McShay has cornerback Kelvin Joseph taken by the Las Vegas Raiders in the second round at No. 48 overall.
Texas’ Samuel Cosmi or North Dakota State’s Dillon Radunz could play a role in rebuilding the offensive line, but the Raiders allowed the seventh-most passing yards in the NFL last season (4,212). Let’s keep building up the secondary.
If either player rises this high next week, the former Cats will be cashing large checks in the near future.
