Who is Kentucky's best mall Santa? Last-minute shopper? The Cats answer before Christmas
It’s the most wonderful time of the year, everyone regrouping for the holidays during this temporary break for the Kentucky Wildcats with ten days between games and 14 between Ohio State and the start of SEC play. The trip to New York City didn’t go as hoped or planned, but hey, what can you do? Plenty of time to address what went wrong and how to fix it.
Until then, it’s about spreading cheer and making the most of spending time with family and loved ones. For some, that includes a trip to the mall with the kids to see Santa with Christmas wish lists. Which Wildcat would wear the red suit and hat best in their role as Jolly Old St. Nick? There is a consensus — and it probably won’t shock you.

Who would make the best mall Santa?

Who is the most last-minute shopper?
How about the folks getting gifts for friends and family themselves? There is a consensus there, too, with one Wildcat guaranteed to be the last-minute shopper of the bunch. Brandon Garrison, you are the team procrastinator in the season of giving.
- Koby Brea: “BG. Sorry BG, but yeah, definitely him.”
- Travis Perry: “I mean, I gotta go with Brandon Garrison.”
- Collin Chandler: “BG. I wish I could do somebody else, but it’s gotta be BG.
- Ansley Almonor: “Definitely BG. If you knew him, you’d understand why I’m saying that.”
- Amari Williams: “BG, I just have to.”
- Trent Noah: “BG.”
- Otega Oweh: “Brandon.”
- Lamont Butler: “Probably Brandon. I could see him being last-minute. Same day, in the morning.
- Brandon Garrison: “I’d say Otega. For real? I mean, sometimes.”
Tip of the cap to the fine folks at BBN Tonight for putting together those together. They never get old around the holidays.
