Will Levis in the Top 10 of notable NFL Draft Quarterback Rankings
What did Will Levis‘ performance this season do for his draft stock? Dane Brugler of The Athletic released his 2022 NFL Draft Position Rankings this morning and Kentucky’s quarterback is higher than you might think. Levis is No. 7 among the quarterbacks, notably ahead of Stanford’s Tanner McKee (No. 8), Spencer Rattler (No. 10), and Tennessee’s Hendon Hooker (No. 12). That could translate to a fourth-round pick.
Levis has yet to announce whether he’ll go pro or return to Kentucky, where he’ll have two seasons of eligibility remaining. On the Mark Stoops Show last week, Levis said he’ll use the next few weeks to weigh his options.
“I haven’t really had any time to even think about that throughout the season,” Levis said. “Now that we have these few weeks between now and the bowl game, it’s a time for me to kind of finally think about what my actual options are and what the realistic expectations are one way or the other. I’m going to take this time to figure it out, weigh the pros and cons. When the time comes, I’ll make it official and public.”

In his first season at Kentucky after transferring from Penn State, Levis completed 216 of 325 passes (66.5%) for 2,593 yards with 23 scores, the most touchdown passes by a Kentucky Wildcat since Mike Hartline in 2010. He also rushed 92 times for 387 yards and a team-high nine rushing touchdowns. Levis ended the regular season ranked sixth in the Southeastern Conference in total passing yards (2,444) and seventh in passing yards per game (216.08) and total offense (248.33).
Other Kentucky Wildcats in Brugler’s Rankings
Two other Cats made Brugler’s top 15 position rankings. Wan’Dale Robinson is 14th among wide receivers and Darian Kinnard fourth among interior offensive linemen. Both were named AP All-SEC and Coaches All-SEC this week, with Kinnard taking home First Team honors and Robinson Second Team. Kinnard also won the SEC’s Jacobs Blocking Award, given to the league’s top lineman, and was named to the Reese’s Senior Bowl All-American Team. He, senior safety Yusuf Corker, and senior defensive end Joshua Paschal will participate in the annual all-star game on Feb. 5, 2022 in Mobile, Alabama.
