Will Levis prepares to cash in on NIL with teammates
Quarterbacks get all of the fame and all of the blame. When the team wins, they are the stars. In a loss, it’s all the quarterback’s fault. Will Levis plans on using that to his advantage in the NIL era, and he’s not forgetting about his teammates.
Kentucky’s new starting quarterback has shown the BBN his personality before ever taking the field. We all saw the banana Tik Tok at least a handful of times. It’s acted as a springboard of sorts to get him in the NIL conversation. Right now, it’s a quiet conversation. Once he helps the Wildcats win a few games, the NIL talk will grow louder.
Levis’ NIL Prep
Levis is one of the sharpest tools in the shed. A three-year Penn State graduate in finance, he knows what his NIL future looks like and it includes a logo built for a superhero. The L-7 lightning bolt personifies the way he throws footballs.
If all goes according to plan, you’ll see that logo all over Lexington in the near future. In a conversation with The Athletic’s Kyle Tucker, Levis revealed plans to produce merchandise in-house with the help of his family, cutting out middlemen to profit as much as possible.

Room for the Big Blue Wall
A quarterback can’t do his job if he doesn’t have time to throw. That’s why he will not leave the Big Blue Wall behind when negotiating NIL deals. As the season approaches kickoff, Levis is already working with a local steakhouse to secure weekly meals for the Kentucky offensive line.
“I really want to make sure, if it does get to the point where companies start reaching out to me, I’m using my leverage with them to help get deals for other guys on the team,” he said.
The Athletic
Levis is well aware of the responsibilities of a starting quarterback. Without playing a down he’s already earned a few hundred bucks. That can turn into a lot more money if he can win big as a Wildcat. The plans are in place to cash in. Now it’s this quarterback’s turn to deliver on Saturdays.
