Will Levis looks sharp in preseason start
Former Kentucky quarterback Will Levis is entering his first full season as a starter for the Tennessee Titans. There is a lot of new in Nashville with head coach Brian Callahan and multiple free agent additions joining Levis in the offensive meetings rooms. But for the Titans to surprise in the AFC South, their second-year quarterback needs to deliver.
Will Levis looked sharp in a 17-13 home win over the San Francisco 49ers on Saturday night. The former second-round pick completed 4 of 5 passes for 35 yards and added a rushing touchdown. The biggest highlight came when Levis found new addition Calvin Ridley over the middle for a big gain.
Levis played two series and led the Titans to two touchdown drives before being pulled. The quarterback looked comfortable in Callahan’s scheme as hype will continue to build for the young prospect with a rocket arm.
