Will Levis is questionable for Saturday's game against South Carolina
Will Levis is questionable ahead of Saturday’s matchup against South Carolina.
The Kentucky quarterback is dealing with a lower leg injury that he suffered in last weekend’s loss to the Ole Miss Rebels. He will be a game time decision. If Levis is unable to play, backup Kaiya Sheron will suit up as QB1. Kentucky (4-1) will host the Gamecocks (3-2) at Kroger Field at 7:30 p.m. EST on the SEC Network.
The injury is not related to the dislocated finger he suffered during the same game against Ole Miss.
Through five games this season, Levis has completed 68.8 percent of his passes for 1,405 yards, 12 touchdowns, and four interceptions. He has quickly shot up NFL draft boards since the beginning of the year and is considered a future first-round pick.
Kentucky has been bet down from a double-digit favorite to a six-point favorite, according to Circa Sports.
