Will Levis signs lifetime contract with Hellmann's Mayonnaise
This was long overdue…
Former Kentucky quarterback Will Levis, who first made a name for himself in the public eye when he inexplicably put mayonnaise in his coffee two summers ago, has entered into a lifetime contract with Hellmann’s Mayonnaise, Sportico’s Eric Jackson reports, the first time the company has done such a deal.
Since the video blew up, Levis has embraced the media attention that comes with doing something so simple, yet unconventional. He’s been asked endlessly about it during interviews but is always willing to talk about it. The clip gained popularity for a second time ahead of the 2023 NFL Draft in April when Levis was a projected top pick. Sportico reports that the video was brought to Hellmann’s attention last summer and ultimately led to this partnership.
“That video went viral, and I raised some eyebrows from that,” Levis told USA TODAY Sports. “From there, mayonnaise has been irreplaceable with me and my brand. Must have caught the eye of the people over at Hellmann’s and it’s turned into this which is pretty cool.”
For those who haven’t seen the viral video of Levis devouring some mayo creamer, you can do so here. Hellmann’s also released a satirical “press release” video where Levis announces his lifetime deal and, of course, pours some mayo in his coffee — and on a muffin, too. Honestly, it’s brilliant.
Levis fighting for Titans’ QB2 role
When he’s not grossing out half of America, Levis is trying to work his way up the Tennessee Titans’ depth chart. After the Titans selected him with the second pick in the second round of the 2023 NFL Draft, Levis has been labeled as QB3 behind starter Ryan Tannehill and second-year player Malik Willis.

Unfortunately, a poorly timed injury near the end of last week prevented Levis from taking the field in Tenneessee’s second preseason outing on Saturday. He had been looking better in practice leading up to the injury, according to reports from those in attendance, and was impressing the coaching staff.
“I’ve seen him make some really good throws. I’ve seen command of the huddle,” Titans head coach Mike Vrabel told reporters earlier this month. “I think that—just explaining to these quarterbacks that the other 10 players are responsible for your performance. So, you need to make sure that they know where to line up. Sometimes guys make a mistake, a lot of formation. But the quarterback’s job is to make sure that everybody is helping them do their job. It starts with lining up.”
The Titans will have one more preseason game on Friday night against the New England Patriots before opening the regular season on Sunday, September 10 on the road against the New Orleans Saints.
