Kentucky conducts home visit with William "Woo" Spencer

Last week, high three-star tailback Jamarion Wilcox made it official and picked Kentucky to become the 18th high school player to commit to the Wildcats in the class of 2023. With the February signing day just two weeks away, the UK coaching staff is looking to close on some other targets.
Recruiting coordinator Vince Marrow hit the road to see another high three-star prospect this week. New Albany (Ind.) Senior lineman William “Woo” Spencer received an in-home visit from the Cats on Tuesday.
The Louisville native is a top-500 recruit in the On3 Consensus that is expected to play offensive line at the next level despite starring on the defensive line throughout his prep career. Spencer announced a top four on Christmas with Kentucky, Louisville, Michigan State, and Mississippi State all making the cut.

Spencer visited Louisville last weekend for an unofficial visit as the Cardinals hosted members of Aspirations Gym. Over the years, Marrow has worked hard to build a relationship with Aspirations and its founder Chris Vaughn.
Look for Jeff Brohm and Louisville to make a strong late push for Spencer to keep the local product home. Meanwhile, Kentucky is also heavily involved in this recruitment. Expect this decision to come down to the wire.
Recruiting never stops.
