April 4, 2015 is a day Big Blue Nation comfortably considers one of the worst in Kentucky basketball history. Riding a 38-0 record into the Final Four, just two wins away from perfection and a mark unlikely to be touched again, Wisconsin turned into a living, breathing wet blanket we now get to hate for eternity.

You know that feeling and where you were when it happened. The pain is permanent, down to the depths of your soul. There may never be a fix — but there certainly won’t be one until banner No. 9 hits the rafters of Rupp Arena.

Want me to make your day worse after reading those two paragraphs? What if I told you that the 2015 Wisconsin basketball team came together this week for a 10-year reunion, celebrating that run to the national championship game and the Kentucky upset to get there.

Sam Dekker’s wife, Olivia Harlan Dekker, shared terrible photos from the terrible event that I hope went terribly.

“What an incredible night celebrating the 2015 Badger Basketball team!” she wrote. “Loved hearing the insight and stories and honoring these great guys!”

The whole stupid gang was in attendance — headlined by Bo Ryan, Sam Dekker and Frank Kaminsky. Look at all of their dumb smiling faces celebrating a loss in the title game:

Am I bitter and jealous? Yes, always. Will I ever recover? Of course not.

“It definitely hurts. It definitely — I mean, I don’t think about it every single day anymore, but I definitely still think about it a lot,” Aaron Harrison told KSR last summer. “You know, you always think about what you could have done and what you could have changed, but being a part of that team, I wouldn’t trade that for anything.

“How it ended, it was — I guess it is what it is, but I definitely still think about it.”

That should’ve been our 10-year anniversary celebrating 40-0. Damn you, Badgers. Damn you.
