YAHTZEE!

by:Kristen Geil07/20/13
As first reported by Drew Barker and later confirmed by Denzel Ware via "#YAHTZEE!" tweets, four star defensive tackle Cory Johnson is rumored to have committed to Kentucky today. The 6'3", 295 pounder out of ASA Junior College also held offers from Miami, Arizona State, Tennessee, and Penn State; he originally committed to Temple before deciding upon the junior college route.   Ranked the #4 JUCO DT by 247Sports, Johnson will help Kentucky flesh out its depth at defensive tackle after Donte Rumph, Mister Cobble, and Tristian Johnson depart and build a strong foundation for the future defensive line- one that could be one of the country's elite. His commitment should place Kentucky back into third nationally in recruiting (past Florida State and Texas, and behind Tennessee and Miami).   Look at that grin. Johnson seems ready to come on down.   Update- it's official. Johnson has committed to the Cats.    @KristenGeilKSR
