Add a new name to a packed weekend guest list. Junior college cornerback Zahquan Frazier revealed that he will be in Lexington this weekend to officially visit Kentucky.

A 6-foot-4, 185 pound defensive back from Cedartown, Ga., Frazier attends Coffeyville Community College in Kansas. Frazier previously officially visited Utah and UTSA. He also holds offers from Mississippi State, Tennessee and Texas Tech, among others. His primary recruiter is Chris Collins.

Frazier will be among a rather large crowd of prospects officially visiting UK on the final recruiting weekend of the year that includes Destin and Keaten Wade, Deone Walker and another cornerback, Alabama transfer Marcus Banks.

Kentucky currently has three cornerback commitments in the class, Alex Afari, Andre Stewart and DeCarlos Nicholson. Stewart will also be officially visiting this weekend. Nicholson, another junior college prospect, may be at Ole Miss or Mississippi State this weekend. Stoops paid Nicholson an in-home visit last week, but his commitment is on shaky ground.

The Wildcats are pursuing a pair of other corners, the aforementioned Banks and Davison Igbinuson. Kentucky could land one, both or neither. After the Cats’ corners got picked on at times in 2021, Mark Stoops’ team cannot be left empty-handed at signing day. Frazier adds another card to the deck. We’ll see what hand the Cats are dealt one week from today.
