The Ivisic twins are back together for the first time since before their journeys over to the United States a couple of years ago.

Zvonimir Ivisic, who entered the transfer portal back on March 31 after a single season at Arkansas under John Calipari, has committed to Illinois. There, he will team up with a few familiar names and faces, namely his twin brother, Tomislav, and former Kentucky assistant coach Orlando Antigua.

Antigua first recruited Zvonimir to Lexington ahead of the 2023-24 season for the Wildcats, then recruited Tomislav to Illinois in 2024-25. Now, Coach O has paired the 7-footers in Champaign, reeling in Big Z from the transfer portal.

Ivisic averaged 8.5 points and 4.3 rebounds per contest as a sophomore in Fayetteville, putting together 16 games scoring in double figures with three going for 20-plus — highlighted by a 27-point, seven-rebound, three-block, three-steal effort against Alabama back in February. He finished the season, though, combining for just two points in four games, fitting considering his rollercoaster-ride of a role under Coach Cal with eight games of single-digit minutes played.

That comes after averaging 5.5 points, 3.3 rebounds and 1.3 blocks in 11.7 minutes per contest as a freshman at Kentucky.

Tomislav, playing his first season at Illinois, wrapped up the year averaging 13.0 points, 7.7 rebounds and 2.3 assists per contest while shooting 49.2 percent from the field, 35.7 percent from three and 75.0 percent at the line. He closed out the year with a loss to Kentucky in the Round of 32, scoring 19 points on five made 3-pointers with six rebounds, four blocks and three assists.

Looking to replace Morez Johnson Jr., who transferred to Michigan this offseason, Coach O decided to form one of the more intriguing frontcourts in college basketball next season.

Can we get the Fighting Illini on the schedule, please?
