A native of Middlesboro, Ky, Matt Jones is a graduate of Transylvania University and Duke Law School. While practicing law, Jones created what became the largest independent college sports blog in America before joining the On3 network. The blog created a following for Jones which led to him being host of the most popular radio show in the state, Kentucky Sports Radio (KSR). The KSR brand is known for bringing UK sports coverage in the “most ridiculous manner possible.”

A third-place finisher in KSR’s inaugural “What Wants To Be A Blogger” contest in 2008, Tyler Thompson joined the site as a contributor in November 2010 and worked her way up to full-time status two years later. After many live blogs, Final Fours, and morning posts, she took over as Editor-in-Chief in April 2018. A 2006 graduate of Davidson College, Tyler resides in Nashville, Tennessee with her husband, Matt, and dog, Gatsby.

Drew Franklin is a managing editor, contributor and podcaster for Kentucky Sports Radio, and a co-host on the KSR morning and pregame radio shows. He joined KSR backed in its basement days over a decade ago, and refuses to leave until he sees Kentucky Football in at least one SEC Championship game.

Host of KSR’s Sources Say Podcast, the No. 1 team-specific college basketball podcast in the United States. Graduated from the University of Kentucky in 2019 with a major in broadcast journalism.

The only son in a family of four who didn’t play Division I athletics, Nick Roush became a keyboard warrior at the University of Kentucky, joining KSR as an intern in 2012 before marrying a former all-conference volleyball star. When he isn’t on the radio or covering the Kentucky football team, the Louisville native is cashing tickets and holding court in the paddock with his infant son at Churchill Downs.

Raised 15 minutes down the road from the University of Kentucky’s campus, Zack Geoghegan got his start with KSR as a college intern in the fall of 2017 before working his way into a full-time position in February 2021. An NBA fanatic turned high school basketball and football recruiting reporter, he still finds time to check in on his Cleveland Cavaliers in between chatting with five-star prospects. When it comes down to it, ball is life for Zack after many many years of fandom.

A four-year veteran in the industry, Adam provides insightful college football coverage on a year-round basis. He currently resides in Louisville and co-hosts the 11 Personnel podcast.
