2023 LB Whit Weeks reacts to LSU Spring Game, sets pair of official visits
2023 Watkinsville (Ga.) Oconee County linebacker Whit Weeks is fresh off a visit to LSU last weekend for the Spring Game, but he’s already got his official visit locked in to Baton Rouge. The 6-2, 187-pound prospect and brother of LSU linebacker West Weeks came away impressed.
“It was really fun, the crawfish boil after the game was fun,” Weeks told The Bengal Tiger. “The coaches want me to commit and it’s good to know that they want me. The campus was a lot nicer than I thought.”
While Weeks noted the Tigers only played one or two defenses, he got a better idea of how he’d fit into the full scheme from the staff.
“They were good,” Weeks said of his conversations with the coaches. “Talked about how I’d fit into the defense. I have the size and speed to play inside backer and can play man on tight ends and backs.”

A return trip to LSU is set for June 24 when he’ll take an official visit. Georgia will host him for an official visit the weekend before and he’s trying to set one to Oklahoma, where he visited earlier this month.
“It’s a cool place,” Weeks said of Norman. “He (Brent Venables) is awesome and is a great man.”
LSU is the On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine leader and Weeks would like to make a decision in July.
“To get to spend time with the guys and see how I like them,” Weeks said of what he’s looking for on his visits before his decision.
On3 lists Weeks as the No. 60 overall linebacker and No. 79 prospect in Georgia. The On3 Consensus, a complete and equally weighted industry-generated average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies, ranks him as the No. 62 linebacker and No. 60 prospect in Georgia.
