BREAKING: 2024 OL Khayree Lee commits to LSU
2024 Marrero (La.) John Ehret offensive lineman Khayree Lee is fresh off the offer from LSU and announced his commitment to the Tigers on Saturday. Minutes after LSU beat Alabama, Lee announced his decision, telling On3.
“It was an easy decision because that’s my dream school,” Lee told On3’s Sam Spiegelman. “That’s where the crib is at.”
The nimble 6-foot-5, 330-pound interior offensive lineman landed the offer personally from LSU head coach Brian Kelly during that last visit to campus. He’s quickly grown close with multiple members of the staff, including Kelly and offensive line coach Brad Davis.
“Coach Kelly and Coach Davis played a huge part in this,” Lee said. “They believe in me, they love me and they want me to become a Tiger. When they told me that, I knew I had to make this happen.”
“That’s where I wanted to be at and it’s close to home,” he continued. “I’m working to get a starting spot early and start as a true freshman.”

Lee added numerous offers as of late, including Florida State, Mississippi State, Michigan State, Ole Miss and Texas.
Khayree Lee is unranked in the 2024 On3 Consensus, a complete and equally weighted industry-generated average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. However, he is a three-star rated recruit by On3.
On3 National Recruiting Analyst Sam Spiegelman had high praise for the LSU target earlier this season.
“2024 Ehret OL Khayree Lee continues to impress as a powerful, agile offensive lineman playing left tackle for the Patriots,” Spiegelman said. “Lee, who is down to 300-something-pounds, bends well and plays big with several knockdowns under his belt, especially with a running QB behind center.”
