4-star DB Ka'Davion Dotson-Walker sets LSU visit date
2024 Duncanville (Tex.) safety Ka’Davion Dotson-Walker is one of the nation’s top defensive backs and will be back at LSU for another visit from April 14-16, he tells On3.
The Tigers are pushing for the four-star prospect from the state championship winning program. Brian Kelly’s staff has hosted him multiple times for visits.
According to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies, Dotson-Walker is the No. 193 overall prospect, No. 17 safety in the nation and No. 35 overall prospect in Texas.
LSU leads the On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine. On March 9, SMU will have him on campus before Arkansas hosts him March 11. March 18, Arizona State will host him. On March 24, he’s headed to Texas before turning around and going to TCU on March 25. He’ll wrap up the month at Florida State on March 30.

LSU keeping the heat up on Dotson-Walker
LSU’s hosted him for multiple visits and the culture around the program impresses him in a big way.
“The Boot, it already feels like home so I’m excited to get back down to the campus,” Dotson-Walker told On3 in January. “The culture of LSU. I feel like if you’re a DB, why wouldn’t you want to go there? It’s just a good culture.”
Led by Kerry Cooks and player personnel assistant Sherman Wilson, LSU is in constant communication.
“Me, coach Cooks and coach Sherman, we stay in contact every day,” he said. “They just kept it real and they just give me that feeling like I’m a little brother. They treat me like a little brother.”
Some of the biggest heavyweights are after him and he expects to be among the best wherever he goes.
“I just feel like anywhere I go, I feel like I’m going to be the dog and be the top,” he said. “That’s how I look at it. I don’t look at it like where I’m going, I look at it that wherever I go, be a dog and be the top.”
