4-star EDGE CJ Jackson includes LSU in Top 10 schools
2024 Tucker (Ga.) four-star EDGE Christopher Jackson included LSU in his top 10 schools, he announced on Twitter Wednesday.
Alabama, Clemson, South Carolina, Georgia Tech, Texas A&M, Auburn, Oklahoma, Georgia and Colorado also made the cut.
“LSU has always been a dream school. I always wanted to play for them,” Jackson said of why LSU stands out. “Me and my former teammate in middle school and little league days, we talked about LSU and had our jerseys on. It was a dream to go up there. I’m building a great relationship with those coaches and we’ve been building it for a minute. They love me.”
LSU will host him June 16 for an official visit.Georgia, the On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine leader, will host him on June 21 for an official visit. Oklahoma will host him on June 7 for an unofficial visit while Alabama and Clemson are potential official visits this summer as well. He plans to be committed by the start of his senior season.

“Recruitment wise, just trying to stay level-headed and get a hold on where I want to go. Lock in, do a bunch of research, talking to family,” Jackson told On3’s Joseph Hastings. “New offers are rolling in every day because I got started to it late. First offer was in November and things like that. Getting the start late, I’m not like everyone who has had their offers, a chance to kind of narrow it down. It’s still kind of new.”
Jackson is the No. 191 overall prospect and No. 13 EDGE in the 2024 cycle, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He is also the No. 28 player in Georgia.
On3 rates Jackson higher than other recruiting services, according to the Industry Comparison. Per the 2024 On300, he is the No. 75 overall prospect, No. 7 EDGE and the No. 12 player in Georgia.
