East Feliciana (La.) tight end, Trey’Dez Green, is one of the country’s top tight end prospects. On3 showed that by moving him up the updated 2024 On300 rankings.
He moved up from the No. 179 overall prospect and No. 8 tight end nationally to No. 116 overall and No. 6 tight end in the country.
Trey’Dez Green made a string of visits nearby to LSU throughout the fall. Offensive coordinator Mike Denbrock has been leading the way with the four-star tight end in LSU’s backyard.
“Everything has been the same with LSU,” Green said. “It’s home, it’s family, it’s where I reside at. They’ve been amazing visits and they treat me just like I’m family. Coach Denbrock, Coach (Joe) Sloan, Coach Jordan Arcement and BK (Brian Kelly) are all recruiting me.”
Green aims to make these visits around the SEC later in the spring and have a decision in place ahead of his senior season. Alabama, Ole Miss, Tennessee and others have been pushing as well. LSU leads the On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine.

Trey’Dez Green is an impressive two-sport star
Green is averaging nearly triple-double per game in basketball, and the 6-foot-6, 225-pounder said he’s just beginning to get his shot back.
“It was mostly hard getting into basketball shape,” Green told On3 last month. “Football shape and basketball share are two totally different things. Finding my shot was hard, but I got my shot back a few games ago and want to keep getting my teammates involved.”
An Honorable Mention All-State selection at East Feliciana, Trey’Dez Green had his offense averaging better than 44 PPG for stretches throughout the fall.
“I want to keep working on my route running and being a leader for my team,” said Green, who just finished his second season playing football. “My footwork has been better since my sophomore year.”
