LSU quarterback commit Colin Hurley made it official with the Tigers on Wednesday, signing his National Letter of Intent. Hurley reclassified from 2025 to 2024 last fall with intentions of joining Joe Sloan’s quarterback room early.

Check out Hurley’s clips at the top of the page from his outing Monday night in the U.S. Army Bowl, in which he tossed five touchdowns.

He’s set to enroll early in January after he wrapped up his official visit to Baton Rouge earlier this month.

“The Official Visit was amazing. When you consider how many times I’ve visited LSU, and I’d say that’s about a dozen times, I left my OV for last,” Hurley told On3. “It was special for many reasons, but certainly one of them was to have the honor to attend the Heisman Watch Party at Tiger Stadium, and to see Jayden Daniels win the award.

“Overall, it was a great visit and I’m grateful for the opportunity to attend LSU. I’ve got the U.S. Army Bowl and National Signing Day ahead. Then, I’m coming to Baton Rouge to help bring us a National Championship.”

Hurley’s a force in the weight room and he enjoyed his chance to get a better idea of what to expect in Baton Rouge once he’s on campus in that department. He’s ready to battle for his time in the LSU offense that produced Heisman Trophy winner Jayden Daniels.

“We met with the Nutrition Staff and Sports Performance Staff, as they wanted to get into the details of what is to be expected when I arrive in January,” Hurley said. “Dr Matt Frakes and Coach Jake Flint do a great job in blending nutrition and performance. They know I’m all about that business, so I can’t wait to get to LSU.”

“I always make it a point to meet with Jack Marucci. We talk motion capture, artificial intelligence, virtual reality and cognitive testing. All of these elements are very familiar to me, and I feel they are a critical layer of what LSU is doing with science, data, and performance.”

According to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies, he’s the No. 324 overall prospect in the country and No. 20 quarterback nationally.
