4-star RB James Simon hits big milestone for Calvary Baptist
2025 four-star Shreveport (La.) Calvary Baptist running back James Simon was on fire in his team’s 49-28 win over Parkview Baptist on Friday. Simon posted 348 yards rushing and four touchdowns, breaking the single-game rushing record.
The impressive junior with offers from all over the country continues to impress this season. Now they’re moving on to the semifinals of their playoff run.
“Well he’s (James Simon) the man,” Calvary head coach Rodney Guin told the Shreveport-Bossier City Advocate. “People wonder why we give him the ball so much. This is the reason right here. He is healthy and ready to go in these big games. He’s a fantastic football player. Hats off to that O-Line too, they were making some holes in there.”
A decision timeframe is starting to emerge for Simon as LSU leads the On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine. Official visits will come this summer.
