5-star WR Caleb Cunningham visiting LSU
LSU is hosting 2025 Ackerman (Miss.) Choctaw County wide receiver Caleb Cunningham for an unofficial visit on Friday, he said on Twitter. The five-star has been to LSU before, taking in the LSU-Alabama game.
Cunningham is the No. 10 overall prospect and No. 3 wide receiver in the 2025 cycle, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He is also the No. 1 player in Mississippi.
On3 rates Cunningham higher than other recruiting services, according to the Industry Comparison. Per the 2025 On300, he is the No. 13 overall prospect in the country and No. 2 wide receiver.
From the Tiger Walk to warmups to LSU-Alabama, Cunningham enjoyed himself in Baton Rouge when he visited for LSU’s upset win this fall. Cortez Hankton’s wideouts impressed him as well.
“It was great. The atmosphere was incredible. I enjoyed myself and it was very loud,” Cunningham said. “They played pretty good, had some big-time plays. The wide receivers played pretty good. They’re quick and physical. I love Kayshon Boutte.”

Caleb Cunningham scouting report
“Bouncy outside receiver with the upside to become a skilled ball-winner. Listed at an unverified 6-foot-3, 185 pounds. Moves well at that size. Shows the ability to come down with catches in contested situations. Naturally coordinated and can locate the football at its highest point. Also shows some ability to make defenders miss after the catch.
“Doubles as a fantastic high school basketball player who lives above the rim, throwing down dunks with regularity. Also posted strong marks in the high jump (6-0 feet) and triple jump (43-4.25 feet) as a freshman. Has considerable natural ability but will need to hone his technical skill at the position over the final few years of high school football. Could stand to be more productive. Plays at a smaller high school and doesn’t face top competition.”
According to the On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine, Ole Miss is leading for Cunningham’s commitment at 31.4%.
