Bengal Tiger Sights and Sounds: LSU Practice Day 3

LSU was back in action in spring football on Wednesday, looking to continue to make progress early in March, building in 2025.
Here’s our perspective of practice with a specific look at the defense, from drills, to new coaches, to Kyle Williams. Check it out and subscribe to our YouTube for more content from every practice throughout the spring.
The Tigers started practice at 8 a.m., coming out and getting into special teams with field goal protection and field goal blocks. Then the team broke up into individual drills and groups and we were able to watch about 12 minutes of them working and getting coached up.
Stay tuned to the Bengal Tiger On3 for the new notes from practice on March 12 and throughout the week.

With three practices under their belt so far, there’s plenty of time throughout the coming four weeks to break down and dissect what we can see in practices. All the team has released is a 30 second video from day one, which includes highlights and head coach Brian Kelly talking to his team.
“Be a great competitor, that’s what spring ball is about — that’s what practice is about,” Kelly said. “It’s us vs. us. It’s you vs. yourself. That’s what this comes down to. Practice your prep every single period. Every chance you get. The words you want to hear are ‘he’s a great competitor.’”
The clip also includes LSU quarterback Garrett Nussmeier throwing, linebacker Davhon Keys working on block sheds, wide receiver Chris Hilton making an over-the-shoulder catch, wide receiver Kylan Billiot catching a pass over what appears to be cornerback Ashton Stamps, running back Caden Durham navigating a run, Hilton catching a pass over cornerback Ja’Keem Jackson, running back Kaleb Jackson breaking a run, and wide receiver Barion Brown making a tough over-the-shoulder catch.
