Georgia 4-star linebacker Zach Weeks has committed to LSU, and he’s also announced his decision to reclassify.

Weeks, who was part of the 2026 cycle, has reclassified into the current 2025 class – one that signs in less than 10 days.

Now, Weeks will join his brothers, current LSU linebackers West Weeks and Whit Weeks, on roster for the 2025 season next fall.

LSU beat out Georgia, Ohio State, Ole Miss, Florida and more for the talented linebacker out of Oconee County.

LSU defensive coordinator Blake Baker offered Weeks on the first day he could call underclassmen, making the third Weeks brother a top priority from the start.

“That one definitely meant a lot to me just because that’s where my brothers are,” Weeks said. “Coach Baker is such a great dude. My brothers couldn’t be more happy. They tell me he’s the best coach in college football. I know they’re never gonna steer me wrong. I was in shock and was so excited.  I have my brothers there telling me what it’s like.”

Now, Weeks is set to leave Oconee County and suit up alongside his brothers in purple-and-gold.

“They have a great culture over there with all the food and the fans,” he said. “I still think the craziest sporting event I witnessed was two years ago when LSU beat Alabama in overtime. I was right there storming the field. The stadium, I’ve been there for games and it looks huge. Being able to practice on it, just gives you a way different perspective. I couldn’t imagine how crazy it is being down there with 100,000 fans there.”
