BREAKING: Top 5 safety Aiden Hall commits to LSU
The LSU football staff has landed a major target for the 2026 recruiting class with Edna Karr 4-star Aiden Hall committing to the Tigers.
Hall, who is a Top 5 safety on the On3 Industry Rankings for next year’s cycle, announced his commitment to LSU on Saturday. He chose the Tigers over a double-digit offer list that included programs like Alabama, Texas, USC, Oregon, Georgia, Florida State, Ole Miss and more.
The commitment from Hall is the LSU football program’s fourth commit for the 2026 cycle.
In late-June, LSU added the program’s first two 2026 commitments in a pair of New Orleans prospects: Edna Karr defensive lineman Richard Anderson and McDonogh 35 wide receiver Jakai Anderson. Prior to Hall’s commitment, another New Orleans native popped for the Tigers when Warren Easton offensive lineman Jalan Chapman got on board for the 2026 class.
As the dust settled on their college reveals, LSU led the way on the On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine. The same went for Hall, which included an On3 RPM pick for LSU from The Bengal Tiger’s Shea Dixon.
Now, the Tigers have four New Orleans natives committed to start the 2026 class, including a pair of rising juniors at Edna Karr.

LSU’s Frank Wilson, the program’s area recruiter, helped reel in a commitment from Hall, who is now set to be part of first-year safety coach Jake Olsen’s haul in the 2026 class.
Louisiana is stacked with talent in next year’s recruiting cycle, which includes not just Hall, but another Top 5 safety in Catholic High’s Blaine Bradford. Bradford, On3’s No. 10 overall prospect and No. 1 safety in the 2026 cycle, recently revealed his five finalists, telling On3’s Hayes Fawcett that he’s down to Alabama, LSU, Notre Dame, Ohio State and Oregon. Bradford has visited each of his five finalists, most recently logging his first trip to Oregon at the end of July. He also made his way back to Notre Dame last month.
“We plan on seeing games at Ohio State, LSU, and Alabama,” Bradford’s father, Stacey, recently told On3.
With Hall’s commitment, LSU’s fast start to the 2026 class in the Bayou State is in motion. The state is also home to two more On3 Top 10 prospects nationally in Lamar Brown and Jahkeem Stewart, the No. 5 and No. 1 overall recruits in America, respectively.
