Eight LSU players invited to 2024 NFL Combine
On Tuesday morning, the NFL released the list of prospects invited to the 2024 NFL Combine. It’s a total of 321 prospects invited to Indianapolis with the event from Feb. 26 through March 4. Of the 321, eight are from LSU with four from each side of the ball.
Five of the players had the option to return, but instead declared for the NFL Draft, leaving some holes for the Tigers to fill both on the defensive line and at wide receiver. That, paired with some coaching changes has made for an eventful offseason in Baton Rouge so far.
Here are the list of combine invitees from LSU.
Daniels is one of 14 quarterbacks invited to the combine, but we’ll have to see how much work he wants to do. A lot of time, quarterbacks will use their pro-day at their schools as the primary workout in front of scouts, so we’ll see what the reigning Heisman Trophy winner wants to do. There has been talk about Daniels potentially being the No. 2 pick in the NFL Draft in a couple of months, so we’ll see how he approaches it.
WR Malik Nabers
Arguably the best receiver in the class, the Biletnikoff runner up is invited to Indianapolis to showcase his skills after another dynamic season and one of the best careers of any LSU receiver in history.
WR Brian Thomas
The nation’s leader in touchdowns, Thomas is now a first-round lock it seems which makes sense when you combine his production in 2023 with his incredible measurables. He’s someone who can only rise on draft boards once teams see him workout.
LSU’s starting center the last two years, Turner is now taking his shot at the NFL. He has plenty of tape against some of the best competition in the country and now will have to have a strong showing in the combine and pro-day.
