11.5 points are the most the Tigers have laid in an FBS game this season beyond being 19.5 favorites over Arkansas in a game that came down to a winning field goal in the final seconds. LSU’s 3-3 against the spread across the season’s first six games, and the Tigers got back to .500 against the spread thanks to an interception Major Burns returned for a touchdown in the final minute to secure a 10-point win over Missouri. While the over/under has been lopsided, the Tigers have been right down the middle when it comes to covering the spread.

The Over/Under

Current: 61 points (-110)

LSU vs. The Over/Under (6-0 on the over): FSU 56.5 (over), Grambling 63 (over), Mississippi State 54 (over), Arkansas 55.5 (over), Ole Miss 67 (over), Missouri 63.5 (over)

Can the hot streak continue? At the midway point of the 2023 season, LSU has hit the over in every game. The Tigers enter Saturday’s game with a Top 5 scoring offense in the NCAA with an average of 45 points per game. Auburn checks in at No. 71 with an average of 30 points per game. On the flip side, LSU’s defense has been among the worst in college football, ranking No. 112 nationally with an average of 32 points allowed per game. Auburn ranks No. 25 in scoring defense with an average of 18 points allowed per game. Will this be the week an LSU game doesn’t hit the over? If not, it’s a 7-0 stretch to open the season for a team that currently ranks first in the SEC in total offense and last in total defense.
