For the first time since a 56-17 win in 2013, LSU Football will face off against UAB at home in Tiger Stadium. Kickoff is set for 8:05 p.m. CT and will be streaming live on ESPN2. The game will also be LSU’s senior night.

Seventeen seniors will be honored for LSU Football on Saturday night, a mix of transfers and four and five-year players. Brian Kelly, however, said not to read too much into who is taking part in the ceremony as it pertains to certain players possibly coming back.

“I’ve had discussions with a number of the guys, we have a pretty good understanding of who’s doing what,” Kelly said. “I wouldn’t take anything from whether they’re running out or not. I think that that’s much more of a personal preference as to whether they partake in the Senior Day ceremony.”

The short break from SEC play gives LSU one last chance to play in Tiger Stadium before ending the season on the road at Texas A&M. Kelly was adamant about not taking the game lightly, however, despite the games ahead.

“We focus on a process, more so than than an outcome,” Kelly said. “And so it’s been a consistent way of how we do things on a daily basis. We focus much more on you know, the little things, our habits, how we think, what we do on a daily basis.”

“It’s just been kind of business as usual for us this week. And our focus has been strictly on our preparation and preparing for UAB.”
