WATCH: Jalen Brown shines at All-American Bowl practices
2023 Miami (Fla.) Gulliver Prep wide receiver Jalen Brown signed with LSU during the early signing period and shined during All-American Bowl practices. The four-star wideout impressed during the week during his time in San Antonio, which you can watch below.
After a senior season that saw him drop off a little bit in production, Brown was ready to show why he’s one of the nation’s best. He did just that, earning top performer mentions during his time playing for the East team.
“I’m looking to show I haven’t fell off,” Brown said. “I know my numbers this year wasn’t what I wanted, but I’m still the same player. I’m still a playmaker. I’m still one of the top receivers in the country.”
Brown notched a touchdown in the all-star game on Saturday, capping an impressive week.
Jalen Brown is the No. 92 overall prospect and No. 15 wide receiver in the 2023 cycle, according to the On3 Consensus, a complete and equally weighted industry-generated average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He is also the No. 21 player in Florida.

“Big play wide receiver who is one of the top deep threats in the 2023 cycle. Shows the ability to consistently separate and win on vertical routes. Transfers his sub 10.7 second speed in the 100 meters over to the football field. A smooth, fluid mover who shows signs of changing speeds mid-route. Also shows the ability to track and locate the ball over his shoulder.
“Makes some grabs with his arms extended. Productive as a junior with over 1,000 yards, 11 touchdowns while averaging over 18 yards per catch. Needs to continue adding to his route tree as he mainly wins on vertical routes to this point.”
