2023 North Crowley (Tex.) tight end and LSU signee Ka’Morreun Pimpton is one of the nation’s top prospects for a reason. At the All-American Bowl in San Antonio, the four-star prospect showed below why so many are high on him.

“LSU signee Ka’Morreun Pimpton was one of the most physically impressive players regardless of position at the All-American Bowl,” On3 scouting and rankings assistant Cody Bellaire said. “His frame and length was impossible to ignore as he put an exclamation point on his performance this week with a terrific jump ball touchdown grab during the game.”

Pimpton is ranked by On3 as a four-star prospect and the No. 6 tight end in the country. He’s ranked as the No. 135 overall prospect in the class.

As a senior at North Crowley, Ka’Morreun Pimpton appeared in 12 games and made 57 catches for 914 yards and 17 touchdowns. He finished his high school career with 28 games played, 85 catches, 1,326 yards and 21 touchdowns.

Ka’Morreun Pimpton scouting summary

“Long-bodied tight end prospect who may arguably have the widest catch radius in the entire country. Complete mismatch in the redzone. Natural pass catcher that can high point the football with ease with strong hands. Smoother athlete that lacks ideal twitch but can separate with his wiggle and long strides. Willing and active blocker, raw power is evident but lacks necessary mass at this point for the next level.

“Threw a tremendous 54-foot-10 in the shot put and a 160-foot-10 in the discus during his junior track and field campaign. Will need a year or two to develop mass in lowers but has the frame and build to carry it. High floor prospect who could play an immediate role in an offense the day he steps on campus. Should turn into an every down player as he continues to develop his lower half.”
