Louisiana LB Tylen Singleton commits to LSU
The LSU football staff landed another commitment on Saturday, and once again, it’s a Louisiana domino that dropped for the Tigers.
Many High linebacker Tylen Singleton announced his commitment to the Tigers on Saturday evening, giving LSU another Top 10 prospect in the Bayou State.
LSU now has commitments from eight of the Top 10 prospects in Louisiana on the On3 Industry Rankings.
Singleton keeps Louisiana momentum rolling for LSU
Singleton is commitment No. 19 for LSU in the 2024 class, and he’s the 13th commitment from Louisiana.
With 74% of the current commitments from the Bayou State, the Tigers continue to get recruiting wins in Louisiana this cycle. Of the Top 10 prospects in Louisiana, only two remain uncommitted in Dominick McKinley and Wardell Mack. The other eight prospects are now all committed to the Tigers.

Singleton is ranked as the No. 147 overall prospect and No. 13 linebacker by the On3 Industry Rankings, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies.
Singleton didn’t make an official visit to LSU in June, but a trip to Baton Rouge this spring helped keep the Tigers front-and-center with the Many standout. LSU defensive coordinator and linebackers coach Matt House is the led recruiter for Singleton.
“We didn’t even talk about football; we talked about life, life after football,” Singleton told On3. “We looked at film, at my plays where I did great and plays where I could’ve been better. I feel that he can bring out the best of my abilities at the next level.”
Singleton is the third linebacker to commit to LSU in the 2024 cycle, joining four-star Xavier Atkins and three-star Davhon Keys. Destrehan four-star Kolaj Cobbins is also on board as a JACK linebacker.
