LSU 4-star LB commitment set for official visit
LSU four-star linebacker commitment Davhon Keys is set to make his official visit to Baton Rouge beginning Friday.
Keys will be the lone official visitor the Tigers host this weekend. The Lone Star State standout will be on campus for a multi-day stay, including Saturday night’s home matchup with the Florida Gators.
Keys and Aledo High finished 10-0 in the regular season, and the Bearcats open the playoffs against Shoemaker on Thursday, Nov. 9.
With Aledo expected to make a deep run in the playoffs, a Thursday night playoff opener gives the longtime LSU commitment the chance to use his official visit this weekend.
Keys locked in on LSU as the Early Signing Period approaches
Keys, a four-star linebacker on the On3 Industry Rankings, has been dialed in on high school since announcing his commitment to LSU in March 2023.
With a little more than a month until the Early Signing Period, the Aledo star said he doesn’t plan to make any other college visits.

“This is my one and only official visit,” Keys said on Wednesday.
With multiple trips to campus already under his belt, the official visit weekend will give Keys a chance to spend more time around the program while taking in a night game in Death Valley.
“I’m excited to see the pre-game atmosphere, and the pregame routines of all the players, coaches, and fans,” he said.
The Tigers put together a solid LB haul
LSU has four linebackers committed for the 2024 class in Keys, four-star Kolaj Cobbins, four-star Xavier Atkins and four-star Tylen Singleton.
Cobbins, Atkins and Singleton are all Louisiana natives who are ranked as Top 300 prospects, while the Tigers went into one of the Lone Star State’s top high school programs to reel in Keys, a four-star recruit who had offers from programs like Oklahoma, Alabama, Oregon, Texas A&M and more.
Here are the highlights from Keys during Aledo’s 10-0 run during his senior season this fall.
