LSU will face Arkansas in Fayetteville on Nov. 12 at 11 a.m. CT on ESPN or CBS, the Southeastern Conference announced on Monday. The Tigers are hoping to avenge last season’s loss to the Razorbacks in Tiger Stadium.

This week, LSU faces Alabama in Death Valley on Saturday at 6 p.m. CT on ESPN while Arkansas hosts Top 25 Liberty on Saturday. The Tigers had a bye last week while the Razorbacks beat Auburn, 41-27.

LSU quarterback Jayden Daniels is hitting his stride in Mike Denbrock’s offense. That’s helped the Tigers beat Florida on the road and Top 10 Ole Miss in their last two contests. Head coach Brian Kelly raved about the Arizona State transfer, who now holds the single-season rushing record at LSU for a quarterback.

“You know, this was a big game in a lot of ways because it was — this needed to be that, we’re reaching that level of consistency in performance and I think we both knew that if he was able to solidify another performance of similar quality, that we were off and running,” Kelly said of an emotional postgame hug with Daniels after the Ole Miss game. “I think we both looked at each other and said, ‘Alright, let’s go. It’s time.’ I think we both felt the same way that he’s in a very good place where he can run this offense now and he feels very comfortable with it and he’s ready to do really good things for us.

“The quarterback was excellent. Again, back-to-back weeks leading the offense. He was the catalyst for us. Making quick decisions. He was assertive, aggressive. Ran the ball. The offensive line was outstanding. As you know, really put the game away at the end. We got stronger. We exerted our will against our opponent.”
